We are well known for our abilit to build relationships between top executives of different
backgrounds and nationalities, often with vastly differing objectives and organizational and cultural
requirements. More particularly, for over three decades, we have represented domestic and foreign
companies in connection with investments in Latin America and the Caribbean.
As a native of Latin America, Luis Oscar Souffront, the Group’s Founder, Managing Member and
CEO, is fully fluent in Spanish and, hence, provides significant value-added to clients conducting
business in Latin America and the Caribbean. This language capability, as well as cross-cultural
and idiosyncratic insights enables him and his staff to better understand the context of the client’s
needs and translate back knowledge into an efficient, effective and pragmatic representation.

further, multilateral agencies on policy issues associated with restructuring and privatization
programs. We have represented clients in various privatization bids in Latin America and assisted
in related areas including due diligence reviews, shareholders and joint venture agreements,
negotiations with sovereigns for concession, government guarantees and project agreements, and
the financing and refinancing of privatized companies.
